Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Tensordata Global Private Limited ("Tensordata", "we", "us") governing your use of the venus application and related services ("venus"). By downloading, installing, or using venus, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using venus you accept these Terms. If you are using venus on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not install or use venus.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms and your tier, Tensordata grants you a personal or organizational, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to install and use venus for its intended purpose. This license does not transfer any ownership of venus to you.

3. Free trial

New installs unlock all Pro features free for 7 days, with no credit card and no account required. When the trial ends, venus continues to work as the Free tier. There is no automatic charge — you are only billed if you explicitly start a paid subscription.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pro is offered as a subscription unlocked by a cryptographically signed license verified on your device. Paid subscriptions renew for successive terms unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and Pro features remain available through the end of the paid period. We may change prices, and where we do we will provide reasonable advance notice; changes apply to renewals after the notice period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use venus lawfully and responsibly. You will not use venus for any unlawful purpose, and you will not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble venus except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. You are solely responsible for the systems, servers, and accounts you connect to through venus and for complying with any policies that apply to them.

6. Intellectual property

venus, including its software, design, and the "venus" name and marks, is owned by Tensordata Global Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

7. Third-party and open-source software

venus is built on open-source components (including Tauri, Rust, React, and xterm.js) that are provided under their own licenses. Those licenses continue to apply to those components, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under them. The applicable notices are available in the in-app About → License tab.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

venus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that venus will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tensordata will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use venus. Our total liability for any claim relating to venus will not exceed the amount you paid for venus in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

These Terms apply while you use venus. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may stop using venus at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or venus.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of venus after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
